Here and Now is something a wee bit different for me. I teamed up with The High Plains string quartet (Seoaid Aitken – violin, Kristan Harvey – violin, Patsy Reid – viola & Alice Allen – cello) for some new arrangements of tunes along with some new ones. I was also delighted to have the wonderfully talented JJ Gilmour lend his velvet vocals to the albums title track. I think this records is something very special. I hope you’ll agree. The album was recorded at the Foundry Music Lab in Wishaw, Scotland with producer Sandy Jones.
