Finally the new album is now available to order from the website. It is called Picked In The Past and features 13 hand picked classic rock covers including Sweet Home Alabama, Honky Tonk Woman and Smoke On The Water, all done with just one acoustic guitar and John's unique style. Bill Wyman and Andy Fairweather-Low have been saying some extremely kind
things about it and John will be taking to the road to promote the album so keep checking John's myspace for forthcoming dates.

Keep your eyes peeled for new dates in June with Spirit Of D'jango in support of the new album Last Train To Hauteville. The guys will be at The Glasgow Jazz Festival as well as dates in London and Strathpeffer. You can also catch John with his band when they play the Ramshorn Theatre as part of the Glasgow Jazz Festival.
John makes his first appearance at the wonderful Inn at Lathones at the begining of July, so it would be great to see you there. John will also be appearing in the first ever Glasgow Guitar Night at The Griffin in August. The night also feature the amazing Paul Rose. Should be a great night. All dates are on John's Myspace.
Open 4 Closure
is the brilliant full band CD from The John Goldie Band.
In his latest recording, John is joined by fellow Scottish luminaries
Angus Lyon on accordion, Duncan Lyall on upright bass and Jim
Drummond on drums. Together the band fuse traditional music with
a Jazz tinge to create a dynamic band sound that
ranges from the violently dancey Back Door Creeper to
the eloquently phrased An
Honorary Scot.
