John is currently a member of the award-winning
group - Martin Taylor's Spirit of D'Jango. The group was
formed in 1994, and their first recording for Linn Records proved
to be a best selling jazz album. In 1997 Spirit of D'jango won
the BEST SMALL GROUP award in the prestigious British Jazz Awards,
the same award went to them again two years later.
